Harvest, Hymns & Flowers

What a great weekend we had, the church looked really
lovely with the flower and harvest displays and the paintings
by Linda Carey together with the poem by Bill Presley really
helped to convey the theme.
Our thanks go to May Presley for
coordinating the display and to the organists for their musical
contribution.
The weekend raised £338 which will be divided
equally between West London Mission, The World Church
Nationals in Mission Appointments and St. John's.
The Harvest produce this year was sent to SHOC (Slough
Homeless Our Concern) day centre who provide meals, washing
facilities and all sorts of advice and help with the problems
of daily life.
